We had an exciting visitor at Roosevelt today – Herky the Hawk! Herky came to remind us, along with a couple of Iowa Women’s Basketball players, that Roosevelt students and their families are invited to attend their basketball game on Tuesday, December 20th, which is Iowa VS. Drake. Students will receive free admission and adults will pay a discounted price of $5. The game is at 7:00 pm and the doors at Carver-Hawkeye Arena will open at 5:30 pm. A number of lucky Roosevelt students will even be recognized during half-time on December 20th! We sent home information last week, but if you need another flyer for the information please stop by the Roosevelt office. We hope to see you there cheering on the Hawkeyes.
